Life has been an interesting ride so far... but I'm tired of being solo. Looking for my best friend and travel companion. Love to cook... feeding people is part of my spiritual practice. Have always been a builder... my friends say I leave a trail of improvements in my wake. Music is an important element in my life... even some opera, though not a fan of rap or most country. Politically I am a little to the left of Chairman Mao... so if you have voted Republican in the last fifteen years we won't get along.

I am semi-retired at this point, and interested in traveling... there is plenty of the coast yet to explore, and I own a customized vintage class A RV (very comfortable for extended periods of "glamping"). much of what I do for a living is more fun than I am willing to give up (and the money's not bad either)... "have tools, will travel." I am an educated, Intelligent, artistic and creative individual... looking for the same in a partner.

My father was a professional magician, and mom was his assistant... her job was to be a "distraction" on stage so the magic could happen, and being a beautiful blue eyed blond, half Swedish and half Norwegian, she was very good at her job. He was a trickster, a showman and a fraud... as the Wizard of OZ said, "ignore the man behind the curtain"... she was the real deal, a high-functioning telepath. I was in the third grade before I discovered that everyones mom wasn't a witch. It would seem that I have inherited my abilities from both of them.

Comfortable with who I am... and comfortable on my own... occasionally. Generally prefer a friendly companion for most adventures (and there are many adventures). At this point, I am not looking for a short term relationship, but a fun-loving, adventurous, fit, healthy and creative life partner... no loners or control freaks please. My personal definition of love has always been caring for someone else's happiness more than for my own. Hope that there is someone real out there... and I am really looking forward to falling in love.

Being someone's first love is great, but being their last is priceless...
